“Los Quejigales” is situated in the very heart of the Natural Park Sierra de las Nieves. Although the operation centre of the rangers is just at the backside of the rural house, there are no other neighbours during several kilometres than pure nature, which surrounds the accommodation with all its fauna and flora.
At just a few meters you can find the recreational area Los Quejigales, where the visitors of the park are parking their cars and from where start several hiking routes. There is also a big public BBQ – although it is strictly forbidden to light fires or BBQs between the 15th June and the 15th October, due to the high risk of fires.
During these dates it is also not allowed to access the Natural Park in motorized vehicles (cars, motorbikes or quads). Only the rangers and the visitors of the rural house Los Quejigales have unlimited and exclusive access.
