Views from above Tolox
Tolox is the village which has from all villages the biggest part of its municipal territory occupied by the Natural Park (33.41% of the whole park territory belong to Tolox). It is situated just on the opposite site of the peak Torrecilla, which forms as well part of the villages’ grounds. The town is very famous for its spa. The steam of its medical waters is inhaled since generations by people with lung and bronchial problems.

Only a few kilometres from the house Los Quejigales - in direction towards the road A397 Ronda-San Pedro de Alcántara - starts at your left a track, which leads you through the whole Natural Park to this picturesque village. You have only around 30km on the track, but you should calculate around 90 minutes for the whole way. At the beginning you have wonderful views and landscapes, although the second half is a bit more boring. The track passes just beside a very charming hotel with an excellent restaurant: El Cerro de Hijar. We recommend you to take advantage of the opportunity and to try their cuisine.

From Tolox start several hiking Routes, which offer the following views on the surroundings and on the ravine Tajo de la Caína.
